This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Future Story Lab website, forms and direct communications associated with the site. It does not govern the independent practices of websites or services we may link to.

Mobile information and consentMobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to vendors that support delivery of our text messages, but only so they can perform those services for Future Story Lab.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Email and text messages

Email

If you ask to stay informed, we may send email about Future Story Lab conversations, projects, opportunities and news. You may unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us.

Text messages

If you affirmatively consent, Future Story Lab may send non-marketing text messages regarding your inquiry, meetings, projects or participation. If you separately consent to marketing and promotional text messages, we may send those messages under that separate consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance and reply STOP to opt out.

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of contacting or working with Future Story Lab.

Our website and embedded tools may use cookies or similar technologies to operate forms, remember preferences, prevent fraud and understand site performance. Browser settings can limit cookies, although parts of the website or an embedded form may not work as intended afterward.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

This website form is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the form. A parent or guardian may contact us on their behalf.

People under 18 should participate in Future Story Lab's online forms, meetings and activities with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or guardian when appropriate.

9. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete information you provided, subject to records we reasonably need to retain. You may also change communication preferences at any time by using an unsubscribe mechanism, replying STOP to a text message or emailing us.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request.

10. External services and links

Our website may link to community organizations, businesses, public agencies, social networks or other independent services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

We may update this policy as Future Story Lab's work or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through other reasonable channels.
